Opportunities exist to help with one or more of the following …

  • Expand the Sustainable MDI restaurant and cafe pledge program to reach more restaurants, schools, the hospital, and the hospitality and retail sectors for next summer - and possibly help get an industrial composting operation here on MDI.

  • Organize Lunch & Learn workshops with employees of large businesses, organizations, and churches to raise awareness & inspire sustainable practices, including energy efficiency, in homes & workplaces.

  • Expand youth involvement by supporting school green teams & partnering with schools, COA, and the National Park on climate education.
