Community-Driven Resilience Planning & Implementation
A Climate to Thrive supports local towns and communities in resilience planning and implementation that is driven by local insight and leadership. Resilience work focuses on strengthening important physical infrastructure, local economy, community health, and emergency services in the face of climate-related hazards and impacts.
Current Projects Include:
Grant-funded support for the implementation of the Tremont Community Resilience Plan, including living shoreline planning, support for infrastructure improvement and replacement, and work with the working waterfront community.
Grant-funded support for the development of the Southwest Harbor Community Resilience Plan
