Climate Solutions Internships
A Climate to Thrive offers semester internships to high school and college-aged youth and summer internships for college students. Interns work closely with ACTT staff to design and implement community-driven climate solutions and learn about community organizing, project development & management, and applications of climate justice at a local level. Interns build a network of youth leadership on climate action and connect with climate leaders at the local and state level.
Summer 2024 Internships
Our summer internship program is open to young people starting at age 17 who seek a part- or full-time work experience studying and collaborating on community-driven climate solutions. Each summer, we offer a limited number (to ensure quality of experience and a competitive level of compensation) of paid internships and encourage those interested to reach out for more information as early as possible in the calendar year. Interns work on a variety of projects and we seek to align project work with each intern’s specific areas of interest, with ample opportunity for interns to propose, design, and implement their own projects through the course of their internship.
